Cuyuna Brewing Company | Brand Story & Business Launch

A craft brewery located in Crosby, MN. A community brewery for visitors and residents of Cuyuna who seek to enjoy the former mining area’s rich history and world-class outdoors.

To build the business—that brand—that encompassed an authentic representation of the Cuyuna region, people, and history, the owners asked for our help. Our initial consultation included high-level, regional market research looking at the need for this type of business, value it would bring to the communities it would serve, and ultimately the viability within the Cuyuna marketplace.

Strateligent coached the business owners on developing the brand while incorporating the region’s mining roots. We helped refine the logo by guiding the shape of overburden hills, and we provided insight on original beer names and backstories unique to the region—stories only locals would know.

Through consulting and coaching, Strateligent helped Cuyuna Brewing Company become the regional brewery by creating a relationship between the product, the customer, and the region.
