Moses Lake LEAD | Vision, Mission & Values

A collaboration of community residents and business leaders working together to create, plan, and build the future of Moses Lake, WA.

Moses Lake business leaders consulted with Strateligent on how they could create a unified stakeholder group to represent the entire region as they plan for the future—this was the very beginning of Moses Lake LEAD (Leadership, Economy, Advocacy, Design).

For a week, we facilitated input sessions with residents, businesses, organizations, and elected officials—engaging the community in a conversation about their future. We asked important questions, such as:

• What is Moses Lake today?
• What should Moses Lake become?
• What does Moses Lake need?

With Strateligent’s help, Moses Lake LEAD used an online survey (with translations in English, Spanish, and Ukrainian) to ask these same questions to the broader community.

After reviewing the data from the input sessions and the survey, Strateligent assisted in creating a unified list of the top ten projects to create a more successful Moses Lake. Moses Lake LEAD used this list to purposefully provide focus, amplification, and additional information to the region. Through Moses Lake LEAD, community members now have access to priorities, timelines, and opportunities to help with these projects.

Moses Lake has celebrated many wins as a result of our work with Moses Lake LEAD:

• improved water quality
• Increased focus on expanding and enhancing K-12 infrastructure to accommodate growth within the public school district
• Allowed the community to weigh in on methods for using a nationally recognized sand dune park to boost the local economy
• Provided residents with a better understanding of the expansion of services within their local healthcare organizations
