Historically, the State of Minnesota used movie theater pre-roll ads to reach parents enrolled in their Child and Teen Checkups programs—but these ads weren’t cutting it. Our strategy focused on bypassing traditional media in favor of social media, giving parents easy access (from their smartphones!) to the healthcare services available to their children. We created new, engaging, motion-graphic videos and illustrated ads, as well as an easy-to-navigate website. The end result was a heightened awareness of the program and increased website traffic—and recognition by the Minnesota Department of Health for the campaign’s success.
